As we all know, Idle games have made a huge comeback and are currently one of the most popular and addictive genres out there. This is all thanks to the like of games like?Cookie Clicker?and?Candy Box. Now, Light Bringer Games of the?Learn to Fly?series is getting in on the game with a new game aptly titled, Learn to Fly Idle. This makes perfect sense as the Learn to Fly games are top notch upgrade/launch games.

With that being said, Learn to Fly Idle just has the Learn to Fly characters (the penguin) in it. You're actually not learning how to fly in this idle game. Rather you have a cannon that shoots snowballs at various other snowy things. So, you start out shooting a generic snowman and when you "kill" it you get money which can be used to upgrade your launching power, base damage, max shots and auto-fire rate. As you get stronger you can switch to shooting more difficult "enemies" such as snow banks, ice walls, frozen dodo birds, etc.

Of course the idle aspect of Learn to Fly Idle is in upgrading the auto-fire rate. I will say that compared to most other idle games where the automated system really pumps up and you don't have to do much, in Learn to Fly Idle you have to still be vary active. This is unless you only go for the auto-fire rate but I found myself going for damage and range more often. I also would have liked to see more visual upgrades or upgrades in general in Learn to Fly Idle seeing as how that is such a big aspect of the main games. Overall though, for an idle game Learn to Fly Idle?is pretty good although maybe not on par with Cookie Clicker and such.

On a side note, Learn to Fly 3 is currently in the works if you don't know already and the project still has 10 more days on Kickstarter. You can check out the Learn to Fly 3 Kickstarter here.?It is already fully funded but you can still get in to get those perks and maybe help reach a stretch goal!
